XLT Ovens receives Domino's Pizza Partner Award
WICHITA, Kan., – XLT Ovens received the Domino’s Pizza Partner Vendor of the Year Award for the fourth consecutive year for 2007.
Director of dry side supply chain, Jim Muribito, awarded XLT Ovens at Domino’s annual SWAT meetings held in Ann Arbor, Mich., the week of Sept. 22.
XLT Ovens has not had a price increase over the life of the relationship, even as commodity prices, fuel and other costs clearly have risen to new highs in the industry. XLT was singled out for their commitment to quality, cost control, excellent customer service and lastly, their continued 100 percent accurate delivery program.
“XLT is honored to have received this award for the fourth year in a row. It really is a testament to our tremendous product,” Peter Goodman, vice president of sales, said.
XLT Ovens are the result of nearly seven decades of first-hand manufacturing experience and the design analysis of thousands of conveyor ovens.
Wolfe Electric, the parent company, was founded in the mid-1940s by Roy Wolfe. The four-generation company first manufactured consumer and commercial fan systems and refrigeration products.
In the 1980s Wolfe Electric began refurbishing ovens for a major pizza chain. They quickly learned the strengths and particularly the weaknesses in oven design. This experience became the foundation for the expertise that goes into every oven the company manufactures today.
